Who We Are
SLEEPO Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Redmond, Washington, USA. We create personalized bedtime audio stories designed to support confidence, positive values, family connection and cultural connection.
This policy covers our websites at sleepofoundation.org, sleepo.org, and sleepokids.org. Our services are designed for parents and guardians of children ages 2–12.
What Information We Collect

- Interests, favorites, and personality traits you share with us
- Social, personal growth, and family goals you wish to nurture

- Parent/guardian name and relationship to child
- WhatsApp number and email address
- Location (city, state, country)
Voice Features (if enabled)
Please note: If you choose to enable voice features, a recording of your voice will be processed by a third-party AI platform for story narration. You will be asked for explicit consent before this feature is activated. Voice recordings are retained only for as long as needed to provide the selected feature and may be deleted upon request.
How We Use Your Information

- To communicate with you about your child's experience

Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal information only to provide requested services, operate our nonprofit program, communicate with families, and meet legal obligations.
What We Never Do
- Sell your information to anyone
- Share your information with third parties for marketing purposes
- Collect information directly from children
All information about children is submitted by parents or legal guardians. Children do not create accounts or submit information directly to SLEEPO.

- Audio generation and delivery
- Analytics and website performance monitoring
We work with trusted service providers who process information to help us operate our services in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices. Some service providers may process data outside your state or country in accordance with applicable laws and their privacy practices.
We use privacy-focused analytics to understand website usage trends and do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information through analytics.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your family's information. All data transmitted through our website is encrypted using standard HTTPS/SSL protocols. Access to your data is restricted to authorized SLEEPO team members only. You may request deletion at any time. Deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days unless legal or operational retention requirements apply.
Parental Rights Under COPPA
Because our program serves children under the age of 13, parents and legal guardians have full control over their child's data under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
At any time, you have the right to:

- Request deletion of that information
- Refuse to allow us to collect or use any further information
Please be aware that if you request deletion of your child's profile data, they will no longer be able to receive personalized stories.
